A gent by the name of Emmert Wolf once coined the phrase, “A man is only as good as his tools.” In most respects, it’s more skill with the tools your given; but yes, in others, it’s making sure you have the right and best tools for the job that make the best artisans. With the recent upgrade of my workstation’s processor to a Ryzen-9 3950x 16 core monster, Renders can be sharper, models can be more complex, and project opportunities will expand greatly. As a first test, I ran it through a few hell geometry renders, and she ate them like a champ. Only 8 Minutes for multi-million poly blocks. Look forward to crazy stuff in the coming days and weeks. (Alongside potentially interesting business prospects in the works.)
